About Us

COVE is a brand launched by Knickerbocker Group in 2019 encompassing curated collections developed by our architects and interior designers. Featuring a collection of homes, furniture, and décor, we have selected and designed solutions to suit a variety of styles that reflect Maine’s heritage and the luxury of a modern lifestyle.
For over 40 years, Knickerbocker Group has provided custom design and construction services for our clients. Every home has been uniquely designed for each individual family. Yet, over time, we recognized not every client dreams of a traditional design-build process. Some have built before and do not want to undertake a large project at this stage of their lives. Others desire a simpler process or a shorter time frame, so they can begin living in Maine as soon as possible, with fewer decisions to be made and more time to focus on the present. Many clients already own an existing home and wish to make improvements and updates to achieve a more functional and modern aesthetic, with unique furnishings ideally suited for their Maine lifestyle.

With the design work complete, the price to build your COVE Home is known from the very beginning, taking the guesswork out of the process and allowing us to deliver your home cost-effectively and in a shorter timeframe.

Our Studio.

Through COVE Studio, we turn the challenges of your existing home into opportunities. Our COVE Studio offers interior design services as well as selection and procurement of interior and exterior furnishings and home décor. Our goal is to provide creative solutions for each unique space, with furnishings and home décor that reflect the thoughtful character of New England homes, paired with contemporary details for modern living.
